The Taash Party Feat. Ambrish Damani

I am highly sure that you have spent your last few weekends attending Taash Parties at your cousin’s house or even their neighbour’s.

Attending one or many of these really requires you to be dressing the part. Glam quotient must be high and one shouldn’t be either too traditional or too contemporary. The key is in finding the right balance.

Personally I have never been a fan of wearing garments or looks, right off the mannequins, always believed in dissecting the various parts and creating styles of my own.

Started off with a pair of embroidered palazzos in a sophisticated beige hue. A bin fan of colours, hence threw on an embroidered halter blouse. I had been dying to wear a beautiful orange Dupatta that came as a part of an invitation by designer Ambrish Damani.

I like one focal point when it comes to accessories and opted for these statement bird ear cuffs from Amrapali. A metallic sling bag to carry basics like a lipstick, compact and my phone. A cocktail ring to make the wine glass I will be holding, appear prettier. Red peep toes and a thin golden belt to emphasize the waist, completed the look for me.

In terms of makeup, I opted for a simple sun-kissed look with a pop of pink of the lips and a bit of emerald on the eyes. This look is something which is ideal for a Taash Party that starts in the daytime and goes on till the wee hours, thanks to all the bling quotient!

Look Break-Up:

Palazzos: Leena & Tahira ; Embroidered Halter Blouse: Street Shopping, Ahmedabad; Orange Dupatta: Ambrish Damani; Ear Cuffs: Amrapali; Metal Sling: Some Exhibition in Kolkata; Peep Toes: Nidhi Bhandari Fine Couture Footwear; Cocktail Ring: Primark; Thin Waist Belt: House of Fraser
