November #OOTD RoundUp- I

November 2016 can be best described as the month of flux. From the temperature to the economy to our wardrobes; ‘change’ has struck all the layers of our lives!

I spent about two weeks in Bangalore early this month and returned to Kolkata following that.

Here’s a quick round up of my #OOTDs for November till now:

  1. Colour Blocking Syndrome:

Ideally, I  wouldn’t call myself a big fan of colour-blocking, but this look speaks otherwise.

Tried a rust coloured mandarin shirt, with  a pleated yellow skirt and a lemon green belt.
Accessories were kept to a watch, a blue sling and silver slip-ons.

Break up of the Look:

Rust Top: Mango; Yellow Skirt: Street Shopping, Bhutan; Lemon Green Belt: AND; Silver Slip-ons: Nine WestBlue Sling: Moschino; Shades:Tribe.in; Watch: Kenneth Cole

Variation: You can replace the knee-length skirt with an ankle-length one to keep yourself shielded form the winter winds.

2. Hello Friday Night

Black absolutely has to make its way to everyone’s wardrobe as the temperature drops and who am I to reject the order of nature.

Added a bit of ‘Me’ element by throwing on a flowy white vest and ankle-high boots and also made it a point to stay away form red wine drinkers. 😛

A pair of golden earrings and a thin black and brown belt finished the look for me.

3. Feeling Flea:

I think I was just born to attend flea markets. The vibe, the music, the fusion of art and fashion just makes the events so exciting.

Had the chance of attending Kitsch Mandi while I was in Bangalore and here’s what I wore.

4. The Denim Zone:

A Denim jacket has the power to transform about anything and everything!

The temperature dropped by a couple of degrees and I felt the need to layer my floral dress with a jacket. Ankle boots too came to my rescue.

5. Flaunt your Flare:

I returned to Kolkata and attended Streets of India: One of the Biggest Food and fashion festivals in the city.
